Three ways out
Restore into Photos — on a new iPhone, with the dates they were taken.
Download to Files — the originals, in the Files app.
Copy with rclone — point at the S3-compatible endpoint, copy the prefix. That is the library.
If a plan pauses
Reads and downloads stay. Keeping memories behind a paywall is not the product.
