This time is different

Your photos,
quietly kept.

Original quality. Not iCloud. You set it up once on iPhone.

Backup

Backup that forgets you.

Every photo and video in the library, at the size you shot it. You allow photos once. After that the widget is the whole interface — all backed up, or paused. It waits for Wi‑Fi, and it will not cook the phone.

  1. Install the iPhone app
  2. Allow photos, once

The library

Every original. The size you shot it.

Stills, Live Photos, 4K, ProRAW. HEIC stays HEIC. A smaller cousin is not a backup.

A father with two small children in late-day light
A parent and children looking at pictures on a sofa
A camera and printed stills
A family standing together on a beach at sunset
Yellow poppies against a clear sky
A wooden boat on a mountain lake

Two copies

The phone is one. This is the other.

An independent copy of the camera roll. Same originals. Not on the same device. iCloud can exist — PhotoCocoon is not it.

A couple in late sun — a moment that lives on the phone

Copy one

On the iPhone

The library you already have. One drop, one theft, one reset away from gone.

A wall of kept things — a library you can take with you

Copy two

Independent originals

Ordinary objects, ordinary names. S3-compatible. Restore to Photos, or leave with rclone.

Restore

The day the
phone dies.

Sign in on the new iPhone. The originals come home, with the dates they were taken.

Security

Closed on the way. Closed at rest.

Honest about what we are. Honest about what we are not.

In transit

Closed on the way.

Uploads go from the iPhone to object storage over TLS. Large video never rides through a tiny API body — it goes in parts, on presigned URLs.

At rest

AES-256 on the objects.

The files sit encrypted in S3-compatible storage.

What we are not

Not end-to-end.

Restore and scanning need the bytes. Pretending otherwise would be a lie.

Leaving

Gone in 72 hours.

Delete the account in the app. The objects go with it.

Your data

Leave with the originals.

Storage is S3-compatible, not a hostage format. A paused plan still lets you read.

Ordinary names

  1. you / 9F3A / IMG_2048.HEIC
  2. you / 9F3A / IMG_2049.MOV
  3. you / 9F3A / IMG_2050.DNG

Account, then the photo’s id, then the filename you shot. That is a folder you can copy.

  1. Restore into Photos

On a new iPhone, with the dates they were taken.

  2. Download to Files

The originals, in the Files app.

  3. Copy with rclone

Point at the S3-compatible endpoint. Copy the prefix. That is the library.

Plans

A year of originals.

Two sizes. Same product. Paid in the iPhone app — this site does not create accounts.

Most libraries

100 GB

$12 per year

Years of stills, Live Photos, and a serious amount of 4K.

Heavy libraries

1 TB

$20 per year

Same engine. More room for ProRes, ProRAW, and long video.
