Restore

The day the
phone dies.

Sign in on the new iPhone. The originals come home, with the dates they were taken.

A backup you cannot get back is a rumour. Restore is equal to backup. This is the day the product earns the year you paid.

Get another iPhone. Install PhotoCocoon. Sign in with the same email. Choose restore. Stay on Wi‑Fi, cool, charging. A large library takes nights, the way it backed up in nights. That is honest. Originals are large on purpose.

Restore into Photos

The library writes back into the camera roll, with the dates they were taken. The roll should sort like the old phone. Live Photos stay Live. Video stays the size you shot.

Restore to Files

Prefer a folder you can open on a Mac? Download into the Files app instead. Same originals. No lock‑in format. Ordinary names.

Leave without us

Storage is S3‑compatible. Point rclone at the endpoint and copy your prefix. That promise lives on Your data. A paused plan still lets you read. Keeping memories behind a paywall is not the product.

If the old phone will not turn on

If backup had finished, the attic is not on that street. New phone, same email, restore. If the last week never sat on Wi‑Fi, that week may be gone — that is why the widget exists. More in Phone died and New iPhone.
